One page to find out whether your leadership team agrees on AI

You do not need a consultant to find out whether your leadership team agrees on AI. You need one page.

Yesterday I shared the exercise: every person on the leadership team writes two sentences about the AI-enabled version of the organization in three years, alone, before anyone compares notes.

I turned that exercise into a one-page tool. The Target State Canvas.

Five questions, one page. The last one is where the real conversation usually starts.

1. What does this organization do that AI cannot? 2. What does AI now make possible that was not possible before? 3. What does the core work look like in three years? 4. What should stay exactly as it is? 5. What are we actually willing to change about how we work?

One honest note. I have not run this canvas with a leadership team myself yet. I built it because this is the discussion I keep recommending leaders to have. If you run it, I would like to hear how it goes.
