Memory

By default, an AI model has no memory — when a conversation ends, everything in it is gone. Memory systems are external mechanisms that persist information and retrieve it when relevant, giving the model access to past interactions, user preferences, or accumulated knowledge. Without memory, every conversation starts from scratch.
